Ahem, or rather it’s Cascading Style Sheets with Paul Bunkham. Thanks to he for explaining the dark art of CSS coding, which seems essentially a huge bolt-on for HTML so that websites don’t look like they were written in twenty-year-old code. Still, most of 350 million websites can’t be wrong. A bit of Googling turned up this website which illustrates a piece of standard content using different user-submitted CSS files. Amazing how varied they can feel – just shows how style over substance is actually the way much of the world works.
